Excellent Foreign Students from Asia

 Nagoya Institute of Technology cooperates with influential universities in seven strategic countries (China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam), a number of which have joined this program. In particular, NIT has enormously strengthened ties and built new cooperative relationships with universities in four of the most strategic countries (China, India, Thailand and Vietnam) since last year. This program continually aims to secure excellent foreign students from Asia.
 This program targets countries where the Japanese manufacturing industry has its overseas bases, and selects excellent foreign students as business scholarship students for its program by establishing partnerships with leading universities in these countries.

 Cooperating influential universities are also present in Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea, so it is possible to secure bright foreign students from those to suit companies’ needs.

Indonesia Udayana University is NIT's partner university.
Malaysia Although NIT has already accepted many Malaysian students, last year concluding agreements with MARA University of Technology and Technology University of Malaysia to promote stronger ties. With MARA University of Technology, NIT set up a joint research facility of nanotechnology for closer cooperation.
Republic of Korea Research exchange is active in some fields such as ceramics between the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Seoul National University and NIT's Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Hanyang University, a well-known prestigious university in Korea, is also a partner in this program.
